Welcome to Welsh Churches.
Mainly consisting of my photographs taken in Wales (with a few from England somehow sneaking in!), this site is a humble attempt to capture and document the architecture of some of Britain's places of Christian worship - from the smallest of local chapels, to the mightiest of cathedrals. For who knows for how much longer they will be around?
I've arbitrarily divided the pictures into three sections for now: Any churches from Swansea or Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire will be placed in the 'Swansea & The South-West' section, whilst churches east of Swansea will go on the 'Cardiff & The South-West' page. Obviously, any churches from England will go on the 'England' page. Should I ever venture North of a line between Brecon and Fishguard, any churches pictured there will go into a Mid (or North) Wales section.
Although there's not much here now, I hope to add extensively to the site in the coming months, so please check back now and again.
Do click the links at the top of the page, corresponding to the area that interests you.
If you notice any mistakes I've made, have any information to add, or just want to make contact for any reason, then feel free to join and post on the Welsh Churches Facebook page.
Thanks for looking.
